Blocky type (hybrid F1)

This plant produces blocky type of fruits. The plant falls under the F1 hybrids. The plant of the Amsterdam-K100 is early to medium in maturity. It is possible to harvest the peppers after 50 days from transplanting. The Amsterdam-K100 is a relatively small plant which contains very large leaves that protect the fruit from sunburning. This plant is tolerant to the Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) which commonly infects Solanaceous plants.

The dimensions of the fruit are approximately 9 centimeters in length with a diameter of 8 centimeters. The fruit weighs about 180 to 200 grams. Appearance wise the fruit has a green colour in the beginning stages but will turn red when fully grown. Furthermore the pepper has a high wall thickness and contains most of the times 3 to 4 lobes.
